Project Overview

In the summer of 2024, we completed a major concrete floor refinishing project at the North Iowa DOT Maintenance Garage. This 25,000+ sq ft project transformed the facility to better serve the trucks and equipment that keep Iowa roads safe during the harshest winters.

Here’s what the project involved:

• Extensive floor preparation: Removing damaged and pocked concrete to create a clean, stable surface.
• Grinding and leveling: Achieving a smooth, even finish across all storage bays.
• Protective coating: Applying a durable, salt-inhibiting clear coat to ensure the floor withstands heavy use and winter road salt.
